M. I. Hajwani Information Resource Centre

M. I. Hajwani Information Resource Centre stands as a testament to the vision and generosity of Mr. Basheer Hajwani, an eminent businessman and philanthropist from Kokan. Motivated by a deep sense of gratitude and respect for his father, Mr. Hajwani generously donated a substantial amount to establish a library at Aziza Dawood Naik High School. The library serves as a living memorial, fostering a positive learning environment that goes beyond traditional boundaries. Inaugurated on the auspicious day of 14th November, 2022, the M. I. Hajwani Information Resource Centre embodies the commitment to education and community development. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities from the Kokan region, and the center was officially opened by the hands of Mr. Basheer Hajwani himself. This state-of-the-art library not only provides conventional learning resources but also boasts a cloud-based database facility, a technological advancement made possible by the dedication and contributions of the school’s alumni. The integration of modern technology into the library enhances the overall learning experience, aligning with contemporary educational practices. The establishment of the M. I. Hajwani Information Resource Centre goes beyond the mere provision of books; it is a strategic initiative to shape the holistic development of students. The library serves as a focal point for the school’s development plan, acting as a catalyst for both curricular and co-curricular activities. It is envisioned as a pivotal milestone in the future development of students, providing a nurturing space where knowledge, innovation, and community spirit converge for the greater good.
